How to get started?
1. Insert the SIM card into the mobile phone in accordance with the device manual.
2. Switch on the mobile phone and enter the PIN1 code indicated on the SIM card.
3. After entering the PIN1 code and registering the SIM card in the network, successful registration is confirmed by the appearance of the mobile network signal indicator.
How to make a call?
1. Dial the required number in international format (“00” or “+” – country code – called party number) and press the Call key.
2. Depending on the phone model, the message “Wait for Call” may appear on the screen.
3. Wait for the incoming call, press the Call key again (to answer the call) and wait for the connection with the called party.
4. If the phone model does not support automatic conversion of an outgoing call into an incoming callback, the following steps should be used to make a call:
select Menu > SIM Menu > Settings > Activate Service and in the Enter service code field enter code 1221, then press OK. To return to the default state, select Menu > SIM Menu > Settings > Activate Service again and in the Enter service code field enter code 0000, then press OK.
5. If, after entering the specified code, the phone still does not support automatic call conversion, it is recommended to make the call in manual mode. To do this, dial the number of the called party in the following order: *146*00 country code + called party number, then the symbol #, after which press the Call key, wait for the incoming call, press Call again and wait for the connection with the called party. Example: *146*0037155500555#
How to find the SIM menu on the phone?
Platforms:
- iOS (iPhone): Menu > Settings > Phone > SIM applications
- Android: Programs > SIM Menu
How to check the balance?
To check the SIM card balance, select Menu > SIM Menu > Check balance. The phone will automatically send a request, and within a few seconds information on the current SIM card balance will appear on the screen. As an alternative, the balance can be checked by dialing 099 and pressing the Call key.
Note: when SMS Mode is enabled, balance check using code 099 is not available.
How to top up the balance?
To top up the SIM card balance, go to the Top up card section on the website. The following top-up methods are currently available:
- Bank cards: VISA / MasterCard / UnionPay / American Express / Discover, etc.
- Digital wallets: Google Pay / Apple Pay / Alipay
- Deferred payment system: Klarna
* Top-ups are processed in accordance with the top-up rules, which can be found in the “Top up balance” section.
How to check the call rate?
To obtain information about the cost of a call to a specific number, select Menu > SIM Menu > Check rate, enter the destination number in the Enter destination number field, and press OK.
How to send an SMS message?
To send an SMS at the standard rate, follow the SMS sending instructions for the mobile phone.
To send an SMS at a preferential rate, select Menu > SIM Menu > Send SMS, enter the recipient’s number in the Enter destination Number field and press OK. Then enter the message text in the Enter Message field and press OK again. Incoming SMS messages are received in the same way as on any other mobile phone.
How to find the assigned number?
1. To view the assigned connection number, select Menu > SIM Menu > Show my numbers and press OK.
2. After a few seconds, the assigned connection number will be displayed on the phone screen.
How to use the phonebook?
For correct use of the mobile phone’s phonebook, contacts must be saved in the following format: “00” – country code – area code (if used for calls) – phone number, or “+” – country code – area code (if used for calls) – phone number.
How to activate the CLIR (number hiding) service?
To activate the service, dial 0900 (or in manual mode *146*900#) and press the «Call» button.
If the function is not enabled, this command will activate it and confirm activation with a message.
If the function is already enabled, this command will deactivate it and confirm deactivation with a message.
For smartphone users
On Android and iOS devices, a separate activation of the Eurosim SIM card may be required. To do this, open the following menu on the smartphone: Menu > SIM Menu > Settings > Activate Service and in the “Enter service code” field enter code 1221 and press “Ok”. Re-entering code 1221 switches the Eurosim SIM card back to standard mobile phone mode.
Data / GPRS activation
To enable data transfer, the following steps are required:
1. Activate data / GPRS.
- To activate the service, dial 903 on the phone (if the device does not support direct dialing, then *146*903*) and press the «Call» key. The service will be activated.
2. Configure the phone as follows: APN: travel.lv Username: leave empty Password: leave empty
Note: before enabling the service, make sure that the phone supports data transfer.
